There comes a point every summer when everything seems to shift overnight.
The fields become a little greener, the mornings start a little earlier, and suddenly the farm stand fills faster than we can keep up. It’s one of our favorite times of the year because it represents months of planning, planting, watering, weeding, and hoping.
And now… it’s finally here.
The blueberries are turning that deep, beautiful blue and they’re looking ever so ready. Every walk through the field gets us a little more excited because we know what’s coming. It won’t be long before baskets are filling, families are wandering the rows, and little blue fingers become a sign of a day well spent on the farm.
While we wait for the blueberry season to officially kick off, the stand is already bursting with fresh harvest.
Right now you’ll find fresh raspberries, loganberries, tayberries, crisp vegetables, farm-fresh eggs, our grass-fed beef, handcrafted Big Leaf maple syrup right here from the farm, and so many incredible products from other local farms and makers that we’re proud to share our shelves with.
And this is just the beginning.
In the coming days/ weeks we’ll continue harvesting more vegetables, the blueberries will be in full swing, flowers will keep blooming, and the stand will change almost daily as the season unfolds. That’s one of the beautiful things about buying directly from a farm—you never know exactly what you’ll discover each time you stop by.
Every season tells its own story.
This one is already shaping up to be a good one, and we couldn’t be more grateful to share it with you.
Whether you’re making the drive for fresh berries, stocking up on local groceries, or simply looking for a peaceful stop under the canopy of the Big Leaf maple trees that produce our maple syrup each spring, we’d love to welcome you.
Thank you for supporting local agriculture, for believing in family farms, and for making Mama’s Garden part of your summer traditions.
We’ll keep harvesting. You keep stopping by.
See you at the stand.
