Hi, I’m Mama Kelly. I have been hanging around the garden for many years, and helping when needed. Then one day, Mama Kim (my sister) asked me if I wanted to come on and help her and Mama Renee (my sister in law) full time. It took some time, but I finally said yes! Wow, what a life changing decision! My husband Kris and I already have a farm of our own and three wonderful children who keep me busy. Now adding on the garden to my big plate of chores, there is always something to get done. But I cherish everyday I get to work outside in the fresh air alongside my kids, nieces, nephews and my sisters!! This is something that a lot of people never get to experience. It is how I was raised, and I hope my children are able to do the same one day.
My main responsibility at the garden is being the blueberry field manager for Mama’s. Part of that job is making sure all the plants are healthy and getting the nutrients they need. (2000 plants) I also help in all other areas of the garden as well.
As I mentioned above, my husband and I own a farm. We run a cow and calf operation that supplies Mama’s with beef!
When I have downtime I enjoy rockhounding, hunting, fishing, horseback riding, hiking and just exploring the world that God gave us!!
